The only real growth EPA proposes in advanced biofuels from 2023 through 2025 is in the cellulosic biofuel subcategory to allow growth of eRINs, or renewable identification number (RIN) credits generated by electric vehicle manufacturers.
*Proposed volumes not yet finalized. **One biodiesel gallon is equivalent to 1.5 ethanol gallons.
